Our story

It started with an engagement ring

In 2019, while searching for her own engagement ring in Shanghai, our founder found that the stones she loved came with prices that had more to do with names than with beauty. Then she discovered moissanite — all the brilliance, none of the burden.

BVLANE is built on that idea: beautifully cut moissanite, real metals, and prices without inflated “was” tags or countdown timers.

What is moissanite?

Moissanite is a lab-created gemstone made of silicon carbide. It is known for exceptional brilliance and fire, and at 9.25 on the Mohs scale it is hard enough for everyday wear.

Is moissanite a diamond?

No. Moissanite is its own gemstone with its own optical properties — it shows more fire (rainbow flashes) than diamond and costs a fraction of the price. We always describe it as moissanite.

How long will my order take?

Every piece is made to order by our partner workshops in China. Crafting takes up to 14 business days, then your order ships by tracked international post, free to US addresses, typically arriving 5–8 business days after dispatch. For holiday gifts we recommend ordering by November 20.

How do I find my ring size?

Our ring size guide shows two simple ways to measure at home. If you are between sizes, choose the larger one.

Which metals can I choose?

Depending on the piece, choose sterling silver (S925), 10K gold or 14K gold. The options available for each piece are listed on its product page.

What is your return policy?

You can request a return within 15 days of receiving your order for unworn items in their original packaging. Custom or personalized orders are not returnable. See our return policy or email service@bvlanejewelry.com.
